UX Researcher/Designer


Eduphoria is looking for a UX Researcher to provide guidance in research, ideation and delivery of our Educational SaaS platform. Our ideal candidate draws from proven experience in design research and stays up to date with advancements in technology to provide progressive opportunities to the organization.

They use both sides of the brain to articulate problem spaces with analysis and dig deep to identify salient solutions. They openly invite critique and feedback with our customers and across our organizational functions. They’re a great communicator that knows how to present the work and tailor the delivery to the right audience, whether a group setting or one on one.

As a UX Researcher, you will:

  • Work with teams and stakeholders to determine research topics of interest.
  • Conduct studies in the field and online to learn more about our customer’s tasks, needs, behaviors and goals.
  • Consider how people interact with our product interface and the environments that surround them.
  • Articulate problem areas and identify opportunities in education that allow us to thoughtfully design for social impact.
  • Incorporate UX research methods and deliverables in our daily process to help shape our user experience—participatory activities, data modeling and insight definition.
  • Deliver low to high fidelity—sketches, flow diagrams and prototypes for rapid iteration.
  • Work with Product Management, Marketing, Customer Success, Engineering and fellow Designers to define and deliver product experiences.
  • Guide, maintain and communicate interaction and visual consistency of the experience across all platforms.

Required qualifications:

  • A diverse and well-designed portfolio that displays a deep understanding of design research fundamentals and interaction best practices.
  • 5+ years experience as a UX Designer or Researcher at a digital product company and/or in an agency setting.
  • Experience designing for modern SaaS web platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills, and ability to work across functional teams (engineering, product, marketing, customer success and more).
  • Can-do, team player who can work with other design professionals in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with agile methodology and product development teams.
  • Knowledge of qualitative and user-centered design methods, and a toolkit in your back pocket.
  • Knowledge of quantitative, behavioral analysis, and statistical concepts.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience preferred.
